Como cada año, este día siempre nos guarda grandes sorpresas y en esta ocasión ha sido doble, porque se han acordado de dos de los grandes ausentes en las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro: JAVIER BARDEM por Biutiful y VALOR DE LEY, el último western de los Hermanos Cohen que ha acaparado nada menos que 10 nominaciones, superando a la vencedora en los Globos de Oro, LA RED SOCIAL que ha conseguido 8. Aunque por encima de ambos títulos está EL DISCURSO DEL REY que se consolida como la cinta con mas candidaturas, nada menos que 12.
Cierran el ranking: ORIGEN con 8 nominaciones, THE FIGHTER con 7, 127 HORAS con 6, CISNE NEGRO con 5, LOS CHICOS ESTÁN BIEN con 4, TOY STORY 3 con 4 y WINTER'S BONES con 4, todas ellas compitiendo en la categoría de mejor película.
Entre los actores, es un logro importantísimo que Javier Bardem esté entre los cinco. Es uno de los mejores actores del panorama. Tiene una proyección internacional que lo convierte en la primera opción de cualquier director en estos momentos, independientemente de que gane o no. Porque este año está claro que no lo gana. Esta vez, el Oscar no se le escapa a Colin Firth.
El Oscar al mejor actor secundario está entre Geoffrey Rush y Christian Bale, este segundo ya ha ganado el Globo de Oro. Una batalla, todavía queda la guerra.
En el apartado de actrices, nos tememos que la gran Anette Benning va a poner su mejor sonrisa cuando vea como su Oscar se lo vuelve a llevar otra jovencita. Porque si Dios no lo remedia, el Oscar a la mejor actriz también tiene dueña: Natalie Portman. Aunque aquí seguimos con nuestra campaña pro-Michelle Williams.
El Oscar a la mejor secundaria está cantado: Melissa Leo. Pero atención a esa joyita australiana titulada Animal Kingdom y a ese Toro Bravo llamado Jacki Weaver.
En cuanto a la mejor película, seguimos pensando que nominar a diez es un coladero y que el premio está entre las cinco que tienen a sus directores nominados. ¿Podría ser la noche de los Cohen? Es probable, porque esas 10 nominaciones de Valor de Ley surgidas de la nada, pueden ser premonitorias. A nosotros nos gusta mucho la dirección de David Fincher en La red Social y no pensamos patalear si se lleva el Oscar a la mejor película. Aunque para ese galardón preferiríamos El discurso del Rey, o incluso ¡Toy Story 3!
